We know that you have several choices available from which to book your African safari. We believe that we offer a truly unique and highly customized adventure.
BOOKING OVERVIEW
These Terms and Conditions apply to any tour booked with Stripes Africa Safaris. The Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between TStripes Africa Safaris and Traveler.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, and acknowledge that you have read, understood, accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you have confirmed a booking on any tours with more than one client named and booked on such a booking, you shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all clients named in the booking (including minors and those with a disability). All clients in a group must indicate their acceptance and agreement to these Terms and Conditions. The client who confirmed the booking is considered to be the selected contact person for all other clients named in that booking.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A minimum deposit amount of 30% is required to secure a booking. The 30% deposit is considered part of the total payment and the outstanding 70% must be paid in full at least 1 month (4 weeks/30 days) prior to beginning the excursion. If the outstanding amount is not paid in full 1month before the excursion period our company has the right to cancel the booking and the deposit forfeited by the client unless there are special circumstances such as natural disaster etc. Agents or Clients wishing to book within 1 month of the commencement of the excursion must pay the entire amount in full to secure and reserve a booking.
The Agent or Client must conduct banking payment procedures. The amount quoted on the invoice from our company is the actual amount that must be paid in full to our account, meaning that all bank transaction fees must be paid for by the Agent or Client. Should the invoice balance be incorrect due to not factoring in bank charges the Agent or Client will be billed again with an invoice for the outstanding amount / required to bring Cash on Arrival.
BOOKING AMENDMENTS OR CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to change your itinerary after a deposit has been made we will do our utmost to make the changes required, provided that notification is received in writing. Every change is subject to a fee depending on your amendments policies. (i.e. hotel or lodge bookings, the addition of participants, flight booking changes, flight date changes, excursion route alterations etc.) .
In the event of the Traveler(s) cancelling the reservation for any reason, the Traveler(s) will be charged a service charge as outlined below. No-shows are considered cancelled at the date of their first expected arrival.

Refunds will be issued via wire transfer back to the account from which payment was made minus bank transfer charges.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
All clients must ensure before the commencement of their trip that their passport/visa and those of other guests dependent on them are up to date and valid. Medical certificates and vaccinations/proof of vaccination documents (i.e. Yellow fever booklet etc.) must be up to date and valid while in Tanzania.
VACCINATIONS & HEALTH
Guests are personally responsible for being aware of yellow fever, malaria, and other illnesses or diseases that may be found in Africa. Travellers should inquire, prepare medication and be vaccinated in their countries of residence as a precaution to prevent being infected before embarking on an adventure in Africa.
Guests travelling with our company are required to be in good health/fit to travel. All clients with serious illnesses or allergies requiring medication or possible medical attention must inform Stripes Africa Safaris about their condition or potential treatment prior to beginning the excursion.
Health Warnings: Malaria and Yellow Fever, Health Issues: ‘Own Medication Responsibilities, Insurances, Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance, are all extensively detailed on this Classic Tours & Safaris website.
BAGGAGE
Our company will not be responsible for clients’ baggage or personal effects, we urge clients to take care of their belongings and not leave them unattended (in hotels, airports, in public etc.) whilst commuting to our secure Safari vehicles.
Also, Clients are advised to bring soft shell duffer bags of not more than 15Kg inclusive of backpacks in case they will be using local flights.
