Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is located in the northern part of Tanzania, this National Park is 126 kilometers west of Arusha Town – the park is nearest to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Natron, and Lake Eyasi. The Park is well known for the tree-climbing lions, the soda ash lake that attracts thousands and pink flamingos, one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant populations, and breathtaking scenery!
The park covers an area of 330 square kilometers of which 220 square kilometers from the lake when the water levels are high in the rainy season. The Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides.
A Lake Manyara safari is a fascinating experience, as the park also features a ground-water forest, acacia tortilis woodland, and hot springs called Maji Moto.
